  • Key policy and technical inputs into development and submission of the Typhoon Haiyan Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan (CRRP) worth $3.8 USD Billion and its monitoring and evaluation tools.

  • Designed and established multi-disciplinary Project Management Office and successfully delivered complex Terms of Reference and Design Scoping Plans for health and transport infrastructure in PNG worth more than AUD$900 million

  • Led and managed the Torres Strait Major Infrastructure Programme worth $130 AUD million

  • Coordinated all international, regional and national procurement and UN logistics for the 2008 Sudan National Population Census

  • Designed and implemented performance audits of all AusAID international deployment support and logistics contracts across the Asia/Pacific

  • Developed and drafted the Northern Australia Strategy for the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for the Population Census and Survey Field operations across northern Australia

  • Coordinated and supervised local project partners undertaking peace building and social preparation for the transition to the autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao

  • Closely involved in the harmonization of the Monitoring and Evaluation systems and processes for the national agencies in the Philippines

  • Developed networks with the private sector to generate funding for the implementation of Training of Trainers for literacy and peace in Mindanao

  • Organized the Regional Local Executives Summit that generated support to and commitment for the anti-child labor initiatives and the adoption of the Open Enrollment Policy in the Department of Education that led to achieving 100% mainstreaming of the policy at the local levels

  • Development of a cloud services adoption strategy to reduce operational overheads and improvement of business processes for the Torres Strait Regional Authority in Australia

  • Provided ICT and remote telecommunications support for VHF and HF radio systems, satellite communications systems on Macquarie Island Antarctic station.

  • Created the Architecture Reference Group and Technical Assurance Group to perform strategic and technical assessments and assurance for all IT projects within Information Services in the Queensland Department of Communities

  • Managed the Infrastructure Systems crisis response process during a major CITEC data center outage 2010 and the Brisbane floods 2011.

  • Designed and managed the EVCI ICT infrastructure and company website

  • Provided technical support to Philippine Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in its emerging leadership role on DRR in the APEC and participation to the UN 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

  • Developed knowledge materials for to support the strategic messaging of Philippine national government agencies, embassies, and international organizations

  • Developed the project proposal “Empowering Bangsamoro Communities through Adult Literacy and Productivity Enhancement” that was funded by the ADAB to support adult literacy interventions and productivity enhancing activities aimed at empowering poor Bangsamoro communities and selected areas in Mindanao

  • Designed advocacy and IEC materials for the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) grant project which aims to reduce child labor in sugarcane areas in the Philippines

  • Provided technical assistance in the programming, coordination and management of Official Development Assistance (ODA) to the Philippines

  • Supported the implementation of scholarship grants managed by NEDA from the Japanese and Australian Governments

  • Assisted in the development of the 2005-2009 National Technical Education Skills Development Plan (NTESDP), and the 2005-2010 Philippine Technical Vocational Education and Training TVET Outlook and the Philippine TVET System

  • Provided technical and administrative support to the Regional and Provincial Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (R/PSCWC) through the preparation of local development and investment plans for children, activation of local councils for the protection of children, and implementation of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD).

  • Provided technical support to the (a) RSCWC, particularly in the development and implementation of UNICEF-assisted projects in Region VIII; and (b) other Regional committees including Women’s Welfare, and the Inter-Agency Task Force for Drug Abuse Treatment and Prevention

  • Conducted/facilitated trainings, workshops and other capacity building activities in line with mainstreaming child rights local development and investment plans for children, and activation of local councils for the protection of children, among others.

  • Facilitated and participated in the formulation of local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plans and Contingency Plans for Earthquakes and Floods

  • · Formulated and implemented risk communication programs including design of brochures on disaster preparedness, mascots, advocacy events, and community information caravans

  • Conceptualized, coordinated and implemented community-based DRRM focusing on capacity-building for disaster preparedness of women, children, persons with disabilities, and out of school youth

  • Developed sectoral consultation tools for and facilitated meetings and consultations of sectoral representatives and technical working groups for the Sunset Review of the Philippine DRRM Law of 2010

  • Conducted an Organizational Assessment of the Office of Civil Defense and presented the findings and report to the executive committee of the agency

  • Undertook and the review and updating of the OCD Strategic Plan

  • Drafted a Joint Memorandum Circular for Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance
